Yelena Aleksanyan is a qualified attorney, licensed mediator, and PhD candidate in Law at Yerevan State University. She specializes in dispute resolution, mediation, arbitration, corporate law, contract drafting, and rule of law projects.

Yelena currently serves as Senior Legal Associate at Sigma Law Group, where she provides high-level legal advisory, contract drafting, and strategic support in corporate, commercial, administrative, and private international law. She is also involved in rule of law and justice sector reform projects in collaboration with international organizations, including UNDP, EU, USAID, World Bank, and Asian Development Bank.

She has previously worked as Senior Lawyer at "Leader & Co" Law Firm, leading dispute resolution, litigation, arbitration, and mediation processes, and providing legal advisory and transaction support in corporate, commercial, and private international law. Earlier, she served as Case Investigator, Lawyer at The Office of the Financial System Mediator (Financial Ombudsman), where she investigated complex financial disputes, drafted decisions of the Mediator, provided legal opinions on regulatory acts, and represented the Office before domestic courts.

Yelena also worked as Lawyer at "Grand Candy" LLC, focusing on contract drafting, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, licensing, dispute resolution, litigation, and arbitration. She has also held the position of Leading Specialist of International Projects Coordination at the Judicial and Legal Programs Implementation Office of the RA Ministry of Justice, where she coordinated strategic international projects, contributed to policy and legislative frameworks, and represented the organization in negotiations and high-level meetings. She began her legal career at "Concern-Dialog" Law Office, gaining experience in legal drafting, litigation, arbitration, dispute resolution, corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, legislative projects, and policy development.

Yelena is an Arbitrator and Mediator at the Arbitration and Mediation Center of Armenia (AMCA) Foundation, an Honorary Member of the NNLE International Association of Mediators & Poly-Experts, a licensed mediator, and a Member of the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia. Her professional background reflects strong expertise in dispute resolution, mediation, arbitration, corporate and financial law, international projects, and justice sector reform.
